Current Special Project

Currently, an LIU colleague’s son, Joshua, is in need of a life-saving bone marrow transplant within the next 2 months due to a relapse in his leukemia. The total amount needed is equivalent to $54,000 at the current exchange rate. If you would like to help with this urgent need, you can click on “Donate” and choose, “Joshua’s Medical” from the PayPal drop-down menu, or send a check to our forwarding agent on the “contact” page with “Joshua’s Medical” on the memo line.

Humanitarian Outreach

When flooding devastated the Nairobi slums in 2024, Tammie helped secure a $10,000 grant from IDES. These funds provided food, housing, and support to displaced families.

Notable Story:

A man known as “Mzee” who had been sleeping in an outhouse received a room, a pushcart to sell produce, and even dentures through local partner networks.
